Holiday History Tour

The 5th Annual Holiday History Tour took place on Saturday, December 6, 2008 and  featured two converted hosiery mills, six private residences, and a Main Street church.

A message from the Society's president:

The attendance this year, which totaled 883, was 173 more than the number which turned out for last year's tour, and the largest crowd since the Tours began five years ago. While Margie Booz, proprietor of North Penn Florist, and driving force behind the Tours, insists there won't be another house tour next year, she has been heard to say that she is working on something that is less labor intensive that will benefit the society in 2008. We would be delighted if she would do so, and we thank her and all the Holiday House Tour commitee members who worked year-round on this over the past five years to make each one the success that it was. And yes, that includes the many LHS volunteers who came back year after year to make this project a success.
